CUSTOM DESIGN & VINTAGE/ RARE GEAR MODS AND REFURBISHMENT
As a sideline to Engineering work for companies, for many years I also did repair, modifications, and refurbishment on a wide array of gear. From vintage synths and guitar amps, to analog and digital studio effects, I worked on just about everything. That included some extremely rare musical gear, and even some unique non-audio equipment such as analog videos synthesizers.
Please note I’m no longer set up to do work on existing vintage gear and don’t focus on it (although I still can do certain larger custom design projects). So please don’t contact me about these sorts of projects unless you have something really interesting, unique, or that is a longer term project. Sorry.
While I’m gathering up a curated partial list to post here, please be amazed at this giant triple-wide rack Moog system I put together for Erik Norlander. Consisting of vintage Moog modules (which I repaired and calibrated), Synthesizer.com modules, and custom modules I designed and built, Erik actually took this monster on tour at least once! I also did all the wiring and cable harnessing…which I have to admit was not my favorite part.
