PRODUCT DESIGNS
Working at and with various companies, I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of the design and Engineering teams for nearly every kind of audio or MI (musical instrument) product. That includes keyboard synthesizers and controllers (as well as digital pianos), audio mixers, electronic drums and triggers, PA equipment (including products for the Sound Contractor market), guitar amps and stompboxes, powered speakers/ studio monitors, and digital signal processors.
Typically I’ve done all or a large part of the hardware design on these products (and sometimes was project manager). I often was closely involved in the front panel layout, UI, and mechanical design, and sometimes also did some firmware.
I’ve also done the occasional project in non-audio areas.
